Their house is one of many with a view of the Sound

I wanted to get a sunset over the sound but the weather wouldn't agree.  :(

I'm sort of lucky, I guess, because my parents refuse to let me pay for my own phone plan. As long as I buy the actual phone and all the toys to go with it, they'll pay for the plan. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't have one.

I don't really need a cell phone either. I'm usually either at home or at work, so there's no point

I don't have a home phone, so I kind of need mine.

Ah, yes, cell's important then!

[identity profile] the-dark-side.livejournal.com 2008-08-06 10:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah. And, I figure, if I need it, I might as well get one with a few extra features...

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-08-06 10:52 pm (UTC)(link)
very good point. Like being able to get LJ stuff

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-08-07 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
glad to see you have your priorities straight!

[identity profile] the-dark-side.livejournal.com 2008-08-07 04:02 am (UTC)(link)
What can I say? LJ owns a fair portion of my soul.

The BBC owns the rest.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-08-07 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
being cut off from it is SCARY and really not a good thing AT ALL

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-08-07 04:10 am (UTC)(link)
*pets LJ* please don't crash

[identity profile] the-dark-side.livejournal.com 2008-08-08 12:47 am (UTC)(link)
I'd probably drive my coworkers nuts if it did.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-08-08 12:49 am (UTC)(link)
don't you mean *more* nuts?

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-08-08 12:35 pm (UTC)(link)
it's good that you're willing to admit these things. :)

[identity profile] the-dark-side.livejournal.com 2008-08-09 06:38 am (UTC)(link)
Besides which, if people think you're a bit nuts, they tend to fear you a bit...

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-08-09 03:22 pm (UTC)(link)
which is always a good thing.

I mean, instilling fear in those around you would be bad. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you and all that....

[identity profile] the-dark-side.livejournal.com 2008-08-09 03:31 pm (UTC)(link)
If they fear you, though, they're less likely to do anything unto you.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-08-09 03:32 pm (UTC)(link)
but not, if your experience tells us anything, your door

[identity profile] the-dark-side.livejournal.com 2008-08-09 03:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, well, normal people are less likely to do anything unto you. Certain of my housemates, as we've established, are not normal.
