tw100 icon fic challenge. The name for the character running the circus is shamelessly stolen from the excellent book "City Of Baraboo" by Barry B. Longyear.
It was an elephant.
On a trampoline.
Bouncing away.
Out in public.
With a damn spaceship parked next to it.
Ianto, at a loss for words, turned to Jack.
“They’re early.” Jack muttered before letting out a long string of inventive curses.
“How early?” Ianto squeaked.
“About a hundred years or so. I’ll go and have a word with O’Hara. You head back and help Tosh work up some sort of cover story.” Jack looked back at the elephant. “Something good. And have some retcon ready, just in case.”
“I don’t think there is enough retcon for this,” Ianto replied.
