they had a news announcement that said it was due to some hotmail issue, but I use gmail, so I think they're just covering their butts there. oh well.

up until the past few days it nearly always worked with no incident at all. Now all of a sudden BOOM no worky. GRRRR

Yeah, I'm using gmail and haven't had a single comment email all day. I keep having to remember who I've replied to and checking posts.

I've never had comment notification issues, even when others did, up to this week, and this week has been awful. Last night I got about ten messages at once, from the whole day previous, and today it's not sending the comments. Again. ::eyeroll:: I hope it heals itself over the weekend.

I only had issues once before. What's weird is LJ isn't even giving me notices in my inbox when people comment on threads I posted in my LJ or are tracking. *glares at LJ* Work dang you!

I couldn't even get LJ to LOAD this morning. :-(

it's been a bit slow for me, but at least mostly loading.

I want my comments!!! :(

When I checked my email this morning, I had about twenty LJ notifications from yesterday. I think they were having some issues...

I'm getting them sporadically and randomly. And at least 6-10 hours behind. Or a whole day behind, depending. Bloody LJ

Yeah. It's annoying, to say the least.

I just got NINE all at once. Which is better than none, but still...

I think it was more that Hotmail effed up, and everything got clogged as a result, including comments that should be going to other e-mail services.

That might explain the nothing nothing flood, too. Thanks a lot, Hotmail :p.

maybe, but I don't understand how that would affect me not getting messages in my lj inbox when someone posts in my LJ. Normally, they show up right away, now it's hours later. It's all internal within LJ itself, how could hotmail or whatever effect it?

Seems e-mail and inbox notifications are two parts of the same system (makes sense, as you can set it so you get both), so Hotmail and other e-mail screwy made for a queue of death:
