There are no good donut shops here.

This makes me very, very sad.

I thought... it was donut sweeper. But this makes much more sense.

Now I would like to have a donut, too.

many, many people do.

Actually, I think most people do. Oh well.

*bwhahahaha* donut cravings FTW!

I am debating popping into Asda to see if they have any doughnuts. This is not necessarily a good thing as it is 01:35 and I should be thinking about bed, not doughnuts! Asda's double chocolate ones are so very yummy though...

Oooh, double chocolate donuts.... *wipes away drool*

ummm, they'll be there tomorrow too, just in case you don't make it tonight.

I do have an excuse to go out though, the dog needs a bit of a walk before bed... Must be in bed by 2.30 though, I have work in the morning!

The toffee doughnuts and custard doughnuts are nice too.

ah, well, if the doggie needs to go on a walk. That's different then.

eta- YUM!

She's a very useful dog at times, and will be happy to assist me in the consumption of any doughnuts I should liberate! Also, going at this time means I might pick up a bag of 5 for 10 or 20 pence.

ooooh, donuts on SALE?!?!?!?! Getting exercise for self and dog and getting donuts on sale?!?!?!

YOU MUST GO!

[identity profile] aeron-lanart.livejournal.com 2009-02-28 01:46 am (UTC)(link)
YOU MUST GO!

Yeah, that's what I was thinking *g*
It's my student's last day tomorrow too so I'd been wondering whether to buy some goodies to share anyway.

I'll let you know if they have any doughnuts!

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2009-02-28 01:47 am (UTC)(link)
students need to celebrate! And donuts are the best way to celebrate! :)

We found the ones at the Lunds by my old work were more than decent, if you get there early enough in the morning. I remember the old Dunkin' Donuts and going there a couple times a month with my mom, but don't even know if those are around in MN anymore. Best donuts, bar none, are from Tim Horton's in Canada. A couple shops opened on this side of the border, but none here as of yet. *pout*

Here I was thinking it was donut sweeper NOT donuts weeper.

There you go.

[identity profile] chatona.livejournal.com 2009-02-28 06:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Huh. I always read it as donut sweeper. As in, you sweep donuts away to eat them all.

[identity profile] aeron-lanart.livejournal.com 2009-03-02 12:26 am (UTC)(link)
It was very sad; there were no doughnuts. I did get some nice chocolate brownie type things though. Still want doughnuts.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2009-03-02 12:28 am (UTC)(link)
choc brownie things are still tasty treats... donuts tomorrow? Maybe?

DD is supposedly moving back into MN this spring or summer after a 10 year absence. YUM
