I was assigned [personal profile] wojelah, who writes a lot of SGA, DW, TW and some DW/SGA crossovers.  It was quite intersting for me because I'd never read any of these pieces before.  Of course, having written SGA/TW myself, I was thrilled to see the SGA/DW and had to read it.

Through a Glass, Darkly  is the story of John Sheppard meeting the Doctor.  The highest compliment I can ever give a piece is that I want to see more of it.  And that was the case with this story.  There was a bit to much explanation/exposition and not nearly enough dialogue, but that's a personal bias I always have with fics.  But there was a true understanding of the characters and their reactions that was wonderful.  Like this:

The Doctor had come to stand by his shoulder, looking out at the swirling, cosmic mass, and explained, quietly, about ripples in time and the fact that they'd be on their way to Atlantis shortly and the bizarre aggregation of circumstances that had put John in an unbreakable bubble on the edge of a war just when the Doctor had detected a disturbance in the Vortex. Really, he was a lot like Rodney, rattling off the explanation without pause for breath, and had much invoked the same coping mechanism, which was to nod and smile and resign himself to the fact that the bizarre liked to follow him home, and this was just another example.

All in all, a pretty good mood piece with the interesting idea of John as a possible future companion of the Doctor's thrown in.

Departures is a piece written for [community profile] wintercompanion looking at Jack and the Doctor's relationship through Martha's eyes.  It was the interchange between Jack and Martha that drew me to this piece:

"But when good things hurt that much?" He shrugs. "Hard to say it's worth it."

Martha tilts her head to the side. He watches her consider the point as she watches the Doctor. "They can be, though. He left you behind, from what I understand, but he was worth enough that you
died trying to get back to him."

"Wouldn't have done it any differently." Hard to get those words out. He used to be a better liar. Before.

"You're still leaving." He knows she's not being judgmental, but it stings to hear it out loud.

Jack just looks at her. "So are you."

"I am." She sighs, and shifts to lean against the door. "I am."

Nice characterization and a lovely way to put into words the reasons for their leaving at the end of LOTTL.  All in all, an excellent episode tag

Mississippi is a cute little drabble Owen/Gwen, whom I usually hate, but it's cute and silly snapshot of a moment between them

Seawall  is a SGA ficlet that is an excellent example of using one character to describe another.  Teyla is dealing with overwhelming emotions and issues and we see the way she sees John and how he treats her and deals with her issues and it's an excellent shapshot look at both characters.
