Title: The Psychic Paper Message
Owen couldn’t move or talk. All he could do was listen.
“It’s okay, I’ve got you. Nothing to worry about... the toxin will dissipate within an hour or so. I know you’re scared and probably have a bunch of questions. I have some psychic paper here. I’m going to slip it between your fingers now so just think about what you want to say to me and the words will appear on it. Okay.... Done? I’m taking it out now.”
Jack removed it carefully and burst out laughing.
It read:
*Bloody hell Harkness, next time I’ll let you go first.*

Challenge#35: UNIT
Title: The Conference Call
It was two hours into the conference call with UNIT before Ianto noticed something was wrong. Every time the Admiral mentioned The Valiant Jack would rub his wrists. It was such a subtle and unconscious action, so unlike Jack, that Ianto couldn’t help but be concerned. He’d thought it odd that Jack was letting Tosh run the meeting from this end and was barely participating, but dismissed it until now. Since when did Jack delegate? Why was he so still? What caused the haunted look in his eyes? How could the mere mention of a ship elicit so much pain?
