Doctor Who and the Caves of Androzani

I just watched this with my kids, since they wanted to see more of Five after "Time Crash".  And they were curious about the celery.

All I have to say is...*wow*  Everyone dies.

And the creativity of the deaths was astounding, there was death by bullets, random evil creature, poison, scalding mud bath, and even an elevator shaft!

Okay, not quite everyone dies.  Peri survives, but since her whole purpose appears to be to get the Doctor into trouble that isn't surprising.  Oh, and the chief bad guy's female lackey/second in command makes it to the end... but everyone else?  Dead.  Bad Guy?  Dead.  Guy in charge on the home world?  Dead.  Pirates?  Dead.  Random evil monster?  Dead.  Army?  Dead.  Androids?  Dead.  Every single extra (including the guy who had two roles - as a Sgt. and as an android version of the Sgt.)?  Dead.  Even the Doctor dies (well, sort of).

And I thought the death count in "Parting of the Ways" was bad!
