NCIS 8x22 episode review/comments

Random note: In about 10 seconds, Ducky calls Tony "Anthony" three times.

The mighty mouse stapler!!!!! Tony won it via a pool (second year in a row) given to him by his boss.

Tony planned on being married?!?! And it's his old partner, Danny Price who gave him fashion advice and told him to dress up. "With the right clothes, you'd be unstoppable."

OMG, Tony tells Danny that he proposed to his former high school music teacher, Wendy (who had asked him out) and SHE SAID YES.

"Who'd want to be a Navy cop, I'd rather have the plague" bwhahaha, oh Tony, you shouldn't have said that back in 2001

Rule #35, Always watch the watchers

PACCI!!!!!! And Pacci is the one who researched Tony!

Although... very poor taste for them to have Pacci joke about his ulcer and that his stomach is going to be the death of him.

Tony, you do NOT turn your back to the open door!!!!

Oooh, nice way of bringing everything together.

Awww, Tony. Danny's a dirty cop, what a betrayal.

Rule #5 You don't waste good

And Gibbs quotes Butch Cassidy!!!

Ummm... so what happened to Tony's fiancé?

And two new rules, so I've updated the rules list, so we now have either 24 or 26 of the 51 rules (depending what you think about the two different #1 and #3 rules).

I loved, loved, loved it--and the Butch Cassidy quote in particular.

And yeah, I thought the plague part was funny, but the Pacci part was a bit much.

But still--I loved it.

I really wish they'd give good stuff to Michael Weatherly more often, because he can really pull it off when he has something to work with.

I knew they'd somehow manage to connect Gibbs to Tony's story, but they didn't make it about him (or Ziva) and that pleases me.

I'm glad you didn't know what happened to Wendy either, I wondered if it was another continuity joke I didn't get (I find they sometimes bring back people or ideas from waaaay back and act like everyone should know what they're talking about). Maybe we'll find out in the future. I don't remember Pacci.

I think they did a good job of aging down Gibbs, but not so much Tony. Although, ten years a bigger different when you're younger than older, I think. Like, you age a lot between 20 and 30, but not as much between 40 and 50.
