“I can’t find a thing wrong with you, Captain.”

“Told you I was fine, Doctor.”

“Yes, but you were... unconscious when I arrived.”

“Unconscious, yes.  Unconscious.  But I’m fine now.”

“I’d still like you to come to the infirmary for some tests.”

“That isn’t necessary, really.  They shouldn’t have even disturbed you.”

“Being asked to my job doesn’t disturb me, lad.  Not being told everything does.”

“I.... I have no idea what you’re referring to, Carson.”

“You know you can trust me, don’t you?”

“I do trust you, as much as I trust anyone.”

“I know that, lad.  I know.”

How sweet is it that Carson calls Jack 'lad' when he's hundreds of years older than him? I have a thing for good doctorness and this is some good doctorness here. Carson's such a sweetie. :-)
