There's a new platform that's sort of a tumblr/LJ combo social platform kind of thing called imzy that opened for beta a bit back. It's a little quiet (similar to early dreamwidth days) but there's a significant number of fannish communities already set up as well as general lifestyle, political, random interest ones. I've been rather under the weather so really haven't checked it out terribly much but I did join and have 5 invites if anyone is interested in taking a gander at it just leave a comment with your email or PM me and I'll send you one.

Having a bit of a poke around, and it looks interesting. What really struck me was on the Fanfic writers board, the first twelve or so comments are all from people who've been at it for years - feels like it's skewing older than Tumblr, which could be good!
