We used to send newbie kennelmaids for
Buckets of steam and 'hurdling seeds'

Someone actually tried to send me for Hurdling seeds when I was new so I waltzed over and made it perfectly clear to the headlad that I knew it was a wind up and he sent me back with a packet of crisps :D
