Randomness

1) I've been totally sucked into watching Supernatural again.  I'm sure it won't last (it never does) but for the moment I have the strongest desire to write Jack and Dean meeting in a crossover.  Can anyone else see that?

2) One problem with that is that my head has been anywhere but in the right frame for writing lately.  I've been keeping up with the ncisdrabble100 challenges and wrote some random fluff for the happyfest, but overall.... *blargh*

3) I am constantly amazed by some of the stories asked about on the ficfinder communities- not only that people wrote such crap, but that others are looking for it.

I watched the season premiere! Missed the whole last season, but I knew where Dean wound up at least, and I was watching with people who knew what was going on, so it was fine. It was good! I love the relationship between Dean and Sam, and that doesn't really change, so I was happy. I wanna know what Sam's up to, though. Something Dean would smack him for, I know that.

I barely watched last season myself. (caught maybe 3 or 4 episodes) but the premiere was GOOD. And you're right the Sam and Dean dynamic is great- although the fact they're bboth hiding something from one another does not bode well.

Do you think you know the show well enough to offer suggestions if I ever write the crossover?

You're right--that doesn't bode well! But it's gonna be fun to watch.

I could probably poke at your Dean characterization, and I remember the feel of the show well enough to give suggestions, probably. But as far as anything that happened last season goes, I don't know much at all.

I'd be pretty clueless for last season as well. I was thinking maybe setting something preseries or something

I also want Jack and Casteil (Castiel? whatever his name was) to meet. but, I'll wait till we learn more about him first.

Preseries would be good! And oh, yeah, Jack needs to meet Castiel (I don't know how to spell it either).

I loved the way the actor played Casteil- the slight head tilt, vaguely odd way of holding himself- just slightly *off*

*hugs* it's so good to see you posting again! I hope things are calming down/getting better!

Yes! He did a good job.

Things are calming down, or at least there are calm periods amid the chaos, so I'll be around a little, just at unpredictable intervals. *clings to you*

calm amidst chaos is better than nothing. I'm here if you ever need a cyber shoulder to lean on/yell at/complain to/whatever

This episode also made me love Bobby- forgot to mention how great that fight scene between him and Dean was- and how, after the awww hug, he threw holy water in Dean's face and just shrugged with a - eh, had to make sure

I loved Bobby there, too! I was waiting for him to try the holy water on Dean. *g*

And thank you for the shoulder! We thought we had a little good news today, but no. I think Denise was more upset than I was, though.

*hugs back* Thank you! It'll work out, sooner or later. *crosses fingers for sooner*

*crosses everything too*
