*grrr*

Every bloody time I go out for coffee at work I *always* ask around if I can pick up for anyone else while I'm out.  How come NO ONE ever returns the favor?

*urge to kill... rising*

Because they are not considerate people! Boo to them.

Wish I could share some coffee with you now!

:) thanks. I might head out and get my own soon, it's just frustrating to see people coming back with a drink carrier with only two drinks in it, when I know the difference between carrying 2 or 3 or 4 is minor and wouldn't it have been nice if they asked and then I didn't have to head out? (If they already are carrying 4 it doesn't bother me, because trying to carry more than that is impossible) I wish I wasn't raised to be so polite because then I wouldn't ask and wouldn't feel as grumpy about it.

wow... sorry- rantybabble warning should have been applied there

[identity profile] rustydog.livejournal.com 2008-10-16 07:45 pm (UTC)(link)
No apology necessary! You know, I would think as long as you have the carrier anyway, carrying 4 would be the easiest because then the tray is balanced and less likely to tip. Humph./indignant on your behalf

Oh yeah. I know what you mean.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-10-16 07:48 pm (UTC)(link)
4 is easier to carry that's true... yet person who pisses me off the most always goes out and gets the three she always gets and never "remembers" to ask me. *sigh*

bloody manners, always getting us in trouble!

[identity profile] chatona.livejournal.com 2008-10-16 09:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Because people are asshats stupid and mean.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-10-16 11:37 pm (UTC)(link)
pretty much. or just self-centered an oblivious. *sigh*

[identity profile] mad-jaks.livejournal.com 2008-10-16 10:08 pm (UTC)(link)
THat's just... NOT ON!!!!

Sends man with gun donuts to help

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-10-16 11:36 pm (UTC)(link)
what about a donut gun? :)

[identity profile] mad-jaks.livejournal.com 2008-10-17 12:29 pm (UTC)(link)
I can actually see that --

Remember those cartoons where the *pops* used to be animated by a kind of donut shaped bubble forming...?

NO?

Just me then...

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-10-17 01:09 pm (UTC)(link)
that sounds familiar, but I can't picture it

No one has any coffee etiquette anymore.

Or any etiquette in general, for that matter.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-10-17 01:53 am (UTC)(link)
very very true.

it just pissed me off because every damn day this one person goes out for coffee- she usually picks up for 2 other people so she could easily ask me and come back with a full carrier-thing. but she never does.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-10-17 02:42 am (UTC)(link)
and when work's already annoying it's that sort of thing that just sets you over the edge. *grrr*

[identity profile] the-dark-side.livejournal.com 2008-10-17 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
Well, you could always "accidentally" get her decaf, next time.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-10-17 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
*snerk* I usually don't wind up buying for her because of our differing hours. But I still always ASK at least.

[identity profile] the-dark-side.livejournal.com 2008-10-17 03:07 am (UTC)(link)
Well, darn. That would be some great retaliation.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-10-17 03:08 am (UTC)(link)
stupid evil parents for teaching me manners and all....

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-10-17 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
but I suppose they also gave me my love of coffee so it works out in the end

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-10-17 04:07 am (UTC)(link)
still... I can think about spiking her tires at least, right?
