Summary: Gibbs won't fail again.
As a Supervisory Special Agent it was his job to pay attention when other agents came to him for help. And if there was one thing that Gibbs prided himself on, it was doing his job. Failing to do so was something he hated, just absolutely and utterly despised. But he’d been so focused on his own case and he’d brushed off Pacci without a second’s thought. Ducky had tried to convince him this wasn’t his fault, but Gibbs couldn’t forgive himself that easily. Chris was dead and, come hell or high water, Gibbs was going to find out why.
