This month saw my first attempts at anything other than TW/DW, although they were still Captain Jack crossovers.

This month also felt like a huge writer's block month for me, although I forced a bunch of drabbles out near the end, "Boys" written 10/24, and "Jack's Unusual Outfit"-"Passing Notes" all written 10/27-30.  And, oddly, only two things not written for a particular prompt or person.

Well, if that's how much you write when you've got writer's block, I can't imagine what a good month is! *g*

Maybe it just didn't feel like much because so much of it was that one big thing.

Maybe it's because Old Man 4 and my bigbang are fighting me.. or that drabbles don't feel like accomplishing something... I dunno.

But drabbles are actually worth a lot more than their 100 wordcount suggests - you have to do a lot of setting up in your head for a drabble that makes them just as worthy as at least a ficlet! :-)

see, sometimes the drabble idea just comes to me out of the blue and goes from idea to finished in less than an hour. *shrug*

Oh, yeah, me too. I've even done one in 17 minutes when challenged by Jades to write one for her Keyverse. But that was in an already established 'verse.

Yeah, all right, there's not always a lot of prep involved, but your brain must have been doing something behind the scenes iyswim! :-)

yep, I do... My brain is an awfully scary place sometimes!
