I have heard tell of people capable of buying Halloween candy weeks before the holiday and not eating it before the trick-or-treaters come.
Apparently I am not one of those people.
What? Reese's peanut butter cups are a perfectly healthy lunch!

that's so healthy. And odd. I mean, good for you.

In this house, we mostly eat fish from Captain D's. And potatoes and carrots and a little bit of pot roast (or chicken--it varies each week, and I don't touch the pot roast) in the crock pot on Sundays. Mom might eat a brownie once every few months.
Oh, and to show how strange we are: Mom bought two tins of brownies for me (because it's the only sort of sweet thing I can stand, that doesn't make me sick--they make it a special way, apparently) from HSN. They lasted a year and a half. Then, they had to be thrown out because they had melted.
Edited to add something I remembered once I saw a comment below. Last winter, Mom found a chocolate Easter Bunny in the back of the fridge. The last time anyone had bought one was when I was 5 or 6. I'm 27 now. She threw it away.

We never would have found that thing if the fridge hadn't practically blown up in a few spots.
