Election crap isn't over the MN - the senate race is too close to call:

Coleman (Incumbent)	1,210,790	42%
Franken	1,210,028	42%
Barkley	437,146	15%

with 99% of precincts reporting. That means there will be a recount and a serious look at the absentee ballots and....

*VERY BIG SIGH*

eta- As of 6pm the race is 121644 for Coleman and 112167 for Franken so the margin is 477 votes!!!

Oh, honestly I expect the convictions will only last until Bush does his going-out-of-office pardon sale spree. In the meantime Stevens has shown no signs of stepping aside in any way. Which is funny when you remember that like many felons he'll lose the right to VOTE.

Aren't there laws though that elected officials can't consort with felons or some such nonsense? does that mean he couldn't talk to himself then?
