crap- I totally missed the ncisdrabble100 challenge this week. Ever since they shifted from Sundays to Wednesdays it really confused my schedule and now I missed one! after 20 in a row!!! :(

Eh, I liked the time crunch aspect- having to do it for the week's challenge. Getting the prompt and making something work. I just completely forgot it about this this week.

That's always an interesting way to write.

The change threw me too and still did.

I raced a drabble out to post on Sunday only to remember I didn't need to.

And I was like 'huh'? when I saw the new prompt yesterday.

I know exactly how you feel though about missing it after 20 in a row :-(

And I remembered about the due date as Wed back then, but totally forgot later. *sigh*

Now I have to decide if I want to get back on the drabble challenge horse again. I wish ncis_flashfic was still going strong, maybe I'd have switched over to that instead

Ah, Flashfic . . . I keep saying to myself I'm going to pop over their and 'nudge' the Mods - not just because in theory there's a story I can't post anywhere else that has been there for four/five weeks, but because I like the comm. I'd even offer to take it over/help out if they'd lost interest.

oh right, you officially can't move it to your LJ until they give the okay! *yipes* If you offered to help out a nudge would probably be welcome.

OTOH, as it's way over the two weeks . . .

Maybe it would help.

I didn't even try this week. I kept looking at the challenge and going *meh* without the "ooh, must keep the streak of written drabbles" it just doesn't seem worth the effort
