“Abigail?” Ducky poked his head into her lab, “any word from Jethro?”
“Nope, sorry, Ducky,” she said, spinning around to face him.
“I thought you might be in need of more refreshment.” He held out a Caf-Pow. “With the others at sea your caffeine levels must be dangerously low.”
“Ducky!” Abby yelled, her voice hitting a register typically heard only by dogs and bats. “You’re so sweet!” In one fell swoop she grabbed the cup out of his hands and plucked a kiss on his cheek. “Keep me company while I kill these orcs?”
“It’ll be a pleasure, my dear.”
