I do not think it means what they think it means...

I love it. It remimds me of a funeral home near where I grew up the name really was Ceased Funeral Home. They were on the main drag and every time I passed by there it cracked me up.

I was just glad we had the camera (we'd just been to the duck pond to be mauled by mallards- pictures forthcoming on that) becuase it's one of those signs you look at and think- I must be reading it wrong...

Hee! It's probably for when the Drive Thru is delayed and you have to wait for your stuff. When we used to go to McDonald's here, it happened all the time. You park and they bring your stuff to the car. Still, I love the oxymoron.

There was a place we used to drive by on the way to Vermont which had a sign that read 'Closed 'Til Open'. We always got a kick out of that.

That would make sense!

*hee* closed 'til open. that's priceless

Hee! Looks like the sign at the McDonald's by the Quarry (though the Culver's by work had something similar when we went about a month ago). Probably for those who's order(s) aren't ready yet, but still funny all the same.

Yep, we found it at Culvers. There were actually three of these signs.

[identity profile] mad-jaks.livejournal.com 2009-06-24 06:29 am (UTC)(link)
Can they spell oxyMORONIC?

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2009-06-24 03:12 pm (UTC)(link)
*giggles massive*

[identity profile] the-dark-side.livejournal.com 2009-06-24 07:30 am (UTC)(link)
I know what they're TRYING to say, but I feel they probably could've worded that a whole lot better.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2009-06-24 03:13 pm (UTC)(link)
but parking for drivethrough? It's perfect!

[identity profile] the-dark-side.livejournal.com 2009-06-25 06:48 am (UTC)(link)
It really is.

[identity profile] snufflesdbear.livejournal.com 2009-06-24 12:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Burger king here has "waiting for drive thru" or did, but someone stole the sign. Most are to embarrassed, and just give you a pull over spot. LOL! Love this one.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2009-06-24 03:17 pm (UTC)(link)
There were actually three of these 'drive through parking only' signs. Come to think of it, it is a little surprising someone hasn't stolen one
