I didn't watch Vampire Diaries (hah! VD), but yes, SPN was made out of amazing. I don't think I've EVER seen such a strong, coherent episode of SHOW since early S4.
So much to think about! And squee about. Bobby especially. But dammit, Kripke: we'd better get redemption at the end of this. Dean canNOT stay mad at Sam. And Sam has to lose the emo now and go to work winning his more-than-brother's (hee! dotcom) trust back.
Sam losing the emo would be a VERY good thing. Dude, you started the apocalypse because you trusted a demon more than your own brother. There's going to be some fallout because just saying you're sorry isn't going to cut it. And it's not like Hallmark makes a card for that sort of thing.
But I loved that Dean made it clear that he still loves Sam. Sam is, and will always be, his little brother. I think the anger will fade a lot because they do have to work together to try to make this right (or at least go down swinging) but trusting might always be an issue.
