In March I posted a little Supernatural story called "Another One For The Book" wherein wee!Sam and wee!Dean keep a book where they collect (in alphabetical order) the names and descriptions of the creatures they've come across.

Jadesfire and Rustydog MADE ME THE BOOK!!!! And even included a gorgeous story about Dean stumbling upon it (post 4x17 "It's a Terrible Life" when the boys were back in the real world and he's trying to get things back in order) having thought the book was destroyed or lost ages ago, but discovers Sam had carefully recreated it from the old pieces, copying it and adding to it as time went by.

It is AMAZING. I don't have a scanner and the photos I took didn't come out that well, but here, take a gander at the 'B' and 'P' pages:

Oh, that's AMAZING! I can definitely imagine the boys putting together something like that, and the little-kid handwriting and pictures are perfect. You're very justified in your eardrum-shattering squee. :)

I would *love* if the boys actually had made something like this. John kept his book, why shouldn't they keep one?
