So... how do they know the address of the ship?
And it makes *so* much sense to have the guy with the CONCUSSION to do the body switch.
And WHY is Jack there? He's not in charge of the stargate anymore.
I'm almost starting to like Lt. Scott. *shudders*
They actually took senator's daughter to see her mom? Not used a camera phone or anything? And WTH- the mom didn't care that hubby and daughter gated to another planet, but a ship is too much to handle?
This body switch thing is ridiculously annoying. So who the hell is in charge? The random guy there for an hour or the people LIVING there? And they're obviously not giving a shit about the body their inhabiting. Which is terribly squicky. And so much for the whole 'cut off from Earth' thing since anyone can slip in and take over. God these body switch stone things are stupid.
Rush is even more annoying today. I know he's supposed to be the bad guy, but this is too much.
Oh lord this episode is bad. Senator's wife is threatening to expose the stargate. Angry soldier is angry. Evil Rush is evil. Annoying people are annoying.
*hee* "What did you just do?" "I saved his life" "By shooting him?"
Oh look, religious imagery.
Why didn't they explore the planet with the stupid flying camera thing?
And another episode where Ming Na does nothing. But she gets two brief cameos.
So did they abandon random scientist people on that other planet?
Has anyone even explained to Eli how the event horizon thing of a stargate works? Why would he question putting his arm through?
Oooh, Eli has a wicked sunburn. Something vaguely realistic. How *shocking* Scott has one too- even where it would be based on his uniform. I'm gobsmacked.
And I guess there will be no explanation of haunted planet's swirly sand creature/thing.
But there is random lifepod/ship thing taking off from THE DESTINY. ooooh. I'm scared.

I think Jack was supposed to be a major player in the Icarus project, or something (also, naming anything "Icarus" is just ASKING for trouble).
I feel like they're trying to make Rush sort of like the Rodney of this series, and they've got the self-centered bit down, but they totally FAIL with anything remotely lovable or sympathetic. He's just REALLY ANNOYING.
To be fair, Eli's only been through the Stargate twice. I can see how he'd be a bit freaked out.
I MISS ATLANTIS.

I thought Atlantis had a lot of problems in various seasons, but it was LIGHTYEARS better than his drivel.

Just enough to keep us hoping she will eventually get something to do. Sigh. It does come across as obvious stalling, doesn't it. "Don't forget! There's this character too!"
I think my main impression of this episode was "Huh. The Stargate program contracted with Sigg for their canteens. Nice that they won't be getting BPA contamination, then."
