Powdered Sugar Requiem

Title: Powdered Sugar Requiem
Pairing/Rating/Warning: none, rated G
Word Count: 100
Summary: Owen just needs to run one more test...
Author's Note: Sixth in the powdered sugar crack!fic series.

Owen practically flew back to the lab.

Pheromone levels!  Jack was right, that was what had he missed!  Of course he needed to test the pheromone levels, how the hell could he have been stupid enough to not even consider testing them?

But now he would. Just one quick test and he’d have figured out what made those damned donuts so special.  All he had to do was...

Wait a second...

Where the hell did the samples go?

How could he test pheromone levels without samples?

Bloody stupid alien sex donuts were not going to get the best of him!

No, it just makes it confused. *g*

Believe me, "he'd" is right. I can't come up with any fancy rules or terms or anything, but when you're in the past tense talking about doing something in the future, it's "he would".

Just like you've used "would" in But now he would. Same tense. :-)
