The problem with writing a story in wordperfect as opposed to on paper is that when it's not working there isn't the satisfaction of ripping the page out of the notebook, crumpling it up and tossing it into the wastepaper basket. Dragging the little icon to the recycle bin is just disappointing in comparison.

Print it out and then rip it up!

Not green, exactly, but oh, so satisfying. Maybe you can keep scrap paper around for just that purpose. :D

Digital acts are definitely less viscerally satisfying than physical ones. Like the difference between "Rusty has left the chat" and actually slamming a door. (I've never left a chat upset, but just as an example. *g*)
