[livejournal.com profile] karaokegal gave me NCIS.

The first character I fell in love with: Tony DiNozzo. To be fair, Michael Weatherly is the reason I watched the show in the first place (I was a fan from his Dark Angel days). I had been a semi-fan of JAG but only caught episodes here and there, but when I heard about the NCIS spinoff possibility I made sure to catch it.

The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:
Palmer. He was nothing more than a side note for so long, but he's just been darling the past season or so and I love his friendship with Tony

The character everyone else loves that I don't:
Ziva. I LOATHE her. She makes NO SENSE as an Israeli (having worked with several I can say this from personal experience) and her passive aggressive, love/hate nature bugs the crap out of me.

The character I love that everyone else hates:
Hmmm, this is a tough one. Jeanne, I suppose, in her S4 episodes anyway.

The character I used to love but don't any longer:
Tim. I never really *loved* him, but he slowly became mean and snarky when dealing with Tony.

The character I would shag anytime: Tony. No contest.

The character I'd slap: Ziva. Especially if she ever followed me into the bathroom.

A pairing that I love:
I am much more of a gen reader than anything else but I'd have to choose Gibbs/DiNozzo

A pairing that I hate:
Tony/Ziva. Don't get me started on them.

Favourite character: Tony. Again, no contest.

My five favourite characters:
Tony, Abby, Ducky, Gibbs, Palmer

My five least favourite characters:
Ziva, Jenny, Mike Franks, CIA Agent Kort, FBI Agent Sacks (Fornell's second in command)

My deep, dark fandom secret:
I have a weakness for woobie ooc Tony in fic if it's done just right.

SGA.

I always really liked Jeanne, too. Except I wish someone would have decided how to pronounce her name and stick with it. Even Tony changed it every time he said it. It's 'jjjen', people. It's not hard!

I'll play.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2010-02-18 03:12 am (UTC)(link)
Oh yes, the pronunciation changes bugged me too.

How about Dresden Files, book verse.

[identity profile] stackcats.livejournal.com 2010-02-18 06:56 am (UTC)(link)
Ooh, I'll play :)

[identity profile] stackcats.livejournal.com 2010-02-18 06:59 am (UTC)(link)
Righto! Good choice, since it's about the only show I'm actually watching at the moment :)

This season I keep forgetting it's on.

Isn't it terribly early where you are?

We're having a House break over here... I tried to resist downloading, but it didn't work XD

It's 7 am. I'm only up cause the family wanted to give me presents before they go to work. Yay, presents!

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2010-02-18 07:06 am (UTC)(link)
Yay presents!

Oh, I forgot, it's your birthday today, isn't it?

Happy Birthday!!!

[identity profile] stackcats.livejournal.com 2010-02-18 07:08 am (UTC)(link)
Eee, thank you!! Pretty sparkles...

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2010-02-18 07:10 am (UTC)(link)
sparkles and now donuts too!

Hope you have a great one!

[identity profile] stackcats.livejournal.com 2010-02-18 07:14 am (UTC)(link)
NOMNOMNOM!

It should be a nice, quiet day, actually :)

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2010-02-18 07:16 am (UTC)(link)
Quiet is good! Especially if you get presents too!

The cats have finally stopped chasing each other here, so I'm going to take advantage of the momentary respite and head to bed. I hope you have a wonderful birthday!

[identity profile] stackcats.livejournal.com 2010-02-18 07:17 am (UTC)(link)
Awh, kitties. G'night!

[identity profile] nakeisha.livejournal.com 2010-02-18 03:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Actually, I liked Jeanne and I really liked how good she was for Tony. S4 Tony was my favourite, he was so mature and great.

And I'll play, please.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2010-02-18 03:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, I LOVED S4 Tony, it seemed like he was IC but slowly maturing into the person he was always meant to be. The backslide into the more familiar joking prankster has been quite the disappointment.

How about Due South?

[identity profile] nakeisha.livejournal.com 2010-02-18 03:49 pm (UTC)(link)
*Nods in full agreement* Yes. S4 was indeed when I loved him not just liked him. So, so sad they didn't keep that up *sighs*

Thank you. *Toddles off to do*

I'll play.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2010-02-18 03:51 pm (UTC)(link)
How about Doctor Who?

[identity profile] karaokegal.livejournal.com 2010-02-18 10:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Awwwww...Jimmy. And I'll admit, I've NEVER quite gotten the appeal of McGee.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2010-02-18 10:44 pm (UTC)(link)
*phew* someone else who agrees about McGee!

[identity profile] karaokegal.livejournal.com 2010-02-19 01:54 am (UTC)(link)
*HIGH FIVE* I mean it's nothing like *you know who* level antipathy, just can't see any charm or appeal in the character.
