Wow. NCIS. Way to be predictable there. And to forget they're own bloody canon ("Legends part 2" anyone?)

*sigh*

What happened to the show I used to love?

I'm still behind... it makes me leery of playing catch up this weekend.

think happy thoughts. Happy thought.

Tony in a shoulder holster, and nothing else.

There.

Better?

*goes to happy mental place*

Thanks! I needed that. Now I'll just hold that image in my head through the eps I'm behind on... *nods*

either that or being drinking heavily.....

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2010-05-12 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
add in chocolate and it sounds perfect!

[identity profile] kaylashay.livejournal.com 2010-05-12 01:20 am (UTC)(link)
I'll skip the chocolate and have Doritos instead. :-)

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2010-05-12 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
easier to throw at the TV

*nods* makes a lot of sense

[identity profile] kaylashay.livejournal.com 2010-05-12 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
No Dorito shall be harmed (or wasted) during the watching of NCIS episodes.

I'll grab my roommates nuts (and, no, not THOSE nuts, the can of assorted nuts in the cabinet) and throw those instead. :-)

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2010-05-12 01:27 am (UTC)(link)
throwing food you don't care about. Smart

[identity profile] kaylashay.livejournal.com 2010-05-12 01:29 am (UTC)(link)
And since they're his nuts, he's responsible for the cleanup. *nod*

It's win-win. :-)

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2010-05-12 01:30 am (UTC)(link)
bwhahahahaha love it!

[identity profile] sarahj2222.livejournal.com 2010-05-12 01:47 am (UTC)(link)
I didn't even understand it. Lucky me, do you think? Does
everybody hate it?
I wish Tony and Ziva would stop the bickering and one-ups-man-
ship then maybe I could understand the plots these days.
I need an episode guide

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2010-05-12 01:57 am (UTC)(link)
NCIS backstory is convoluted at best, lately though they've been ignoring bits they don't like and rewriting whatever they want.

Wiki has a fairly good episode guide, although I'm not sure how useful it will be. If there's is something specific you're curious about I might be able to help.

I am MASSIVELY tired of the bickering as well.

I want just one episode that doesn't not center around Gibb's convoluted and everchanging backstory. Can we not get some history on another character? I mean, what do we know about Tony? Or McGee? Plus, they cannot mess with the Abby/Gibbs relationship, because that is my favourite part of the show.

Boo!

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2010-05-12 03:16 am (UTC)(link)
I agree 100%. I am sick to death of them rewriting and ignoring what they've already written about his backstory, especially when they do it in a way that makes NO SENSE. Why would the bullet still be in the corpse? Wasn't there an autopsy back then? Why would anyone believe in the chain of evidence of someone handing over a shell casing that they happened to be carrying around for 20 years and claim it had something to do with the case they just stumbled into?

*throws up hands in disgust*

What happened? I missed it.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2010-05-12 03:26 am (UTC)(link)
NCIS had investigated the shooting of the drug dealer back when- Macy basically told Gibbs she knew what he did and purposely let the investigation slide.

Not to mention all the other inconsistencies about the case itself as presented just in today's episode

Shane Brennan ran out of toilet paper.

It's a good thing I wasn't drinking when I read that. Coffee is not easy to clean off computer screens

LOL!!!!

Well? Is he, or is he not taking a dump on the show?

Wonder what the ratings will be for this one.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2010-05-12 06:00 am (UTC)(link)
my understanding is that they've been dropping steadily for weeks now. Can't say I'm surprised.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2010-05-12 06:04 am (UTC)(link)
It's too bad SB has NO idea what makes the show work. I don't think anyone cares about Gibbs' past anymore. And the Abby/Gibbs relationship is one of the things people DON'T want messed with either. The show is going to start losing more and more viewers

All Brennan knows is soap opera. He does fine when someone tells him what to write, but to be the one with a vision? Hell no.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2010-05-12 06:13 am (UTC)(link)
I've watched tons of soap operas in my day. This is bad even for a soap.

Not surprised.

Such a shame. It was once such a good show.
