(no subject)

My goal for the day is not to smash the phone into itty bitty pieces.

Right now I'm thinking it's 50-50 if I achieve it or not.

Been there. Done that. Smashed the phone into rather large chunks...

What's up hon'?

It's hot.. Hot hot icky hot and I don't have AC. And I'm trying to figure out bills and if we've been charged twice for some of the stuff for son's broken arm (it's confusing because each department bills separately) and the phone keeps ringing with telemarketers and wrong numbers and the cat just threw up and there is no chocolate in the house.

Aren't you glad you asked?

(I don't have any doughnuts to Hand I'm afraid.)
That sounds like a rough day *snuggles you* It's been very hot over here today as well - the dog and I walked home at lunchtime dodging from one bit of shade to the next.

*noms* today is one of those days I'm glad we don't have a dog. It's 35 Celsius here according to mr online converter thing. And humid. And icky.

But at least you're getting exercise?

On the plus side it is not humid here.

Yes, getting exercise *nods* (and if I'm walking I can't fall off the bike again.)

Ouch. Falling off bike is not a good thing.

I know - and I've done it twice in the last week (yesterday simply because I missed putting my foot on the kerb *after* I had stopped :O).

Thank you!

He has scary looking scar from where they had to put the pin in, but it healed just fine, thankfully and he's even got most of his wrist mobility back and a lot of the muscle tone. Kids heal very easily, thankfully.

Having to wear a cast in the really hot weather would have been a *pain*.

I hadn't even thought of that. Yuck casts would be terrible in high humidity
