So obviously I have failed at my attempts to make August GOMBAP month (get off my butt and post month) and post everyday. When I came up with the idea I failed to consider the fact it's AUGUST and my kids are home. And, oddly, they expect 3 meals a day, and want rides to places, and to go get school supplies, and to watch Warehouse 13 and Eureka and, and, and, and.... And I hadn't expected my desktop AND router to both start playing silly buggers with me.

But, at two thirds of the way through the month, I am still happy with what I've accomplished. Four NCIS:LA ficlets that had been sitting at 90% completed did get finished and posted and I wrote a few drabbles, polished up a Mag7 fic and finally put up my American English vs British English post. All in all, not bad.

I have a number of Bring the Happy ficlets started and I'm really hoping finish at least one if not more. We'll see.

I've also signed up for

fandom_bigloser with hopes it'll motivate me to get in shape a little. Or at least to quit having a pint of ice cream for lunch. Either would be good. Signups continue until the 23rd if anyone else is interested in checking it out.

I've been impressed with your output! Especially since it sounds like you had pretty tough conditions. August is an armpit of a month, imo. And you got off your butt and posted despite it. *g*
