An Apology

I apologize to anyone who was offended by my recent "A Pair Of Jacks" drabble.  I thought it was funny and assumed the author's note would be warning enough. 

I'll be stepping back from LJ for a bit, my kids are home all week and I'll be busy with Thanksgiving and it's just not fun to write when you're worried about getting slammed or insulted for it.  I'll try to keep up with my flist but most likely any stories I post will be few and far between.

*growls* some people. I have been noticing a lot more lately there are "fic police" out all over the place. One I read yesterday had comments that the writer's piece was a spoiler for US people. Well, I never even considered that. I mean, how many times are UK people spoiled because the 1 or 2 week period is up for spoiler space.

And now, one of my new favorite authors pulled a fic I wanted to read! *SOBS* and the S.O.B.s Some people have NO sense of humor, IMHO. Or any common sense, either.

*sigh* Well, will give me time to catch up on your other fics, I guess. Last time I went to catch up, I got sidetracked by links. *rolls eyes* plus I have to finish moving this week.

Have a good thanksgiving with your family. Hope you come back soon. And Allie the Gator has a CrocMafia in the swamp. She can hire them to eat...um..get rid of... um *talk* to these Mean People.
