My flist knows everything

Does anyone know how to put a link in an anonymous comment so that it is clickable?

Things are a little different when posting anon (images, for example, are done <table background="put the direct image url here" height="put height here" width="put width here"> as opposed to the more standard <img src="image url">

For links when not anonymous, <a href="http://donutsweeper.livejournal.com/">this is my LJ works (and looks fine in the preview if posting anon) looking like this This is my LJ, but as anon it comes out wrong and isn't even clickable, let along 'fancy' and the link has to be C&Ped to work.

I've enabled anon commenting for now to test how to do it.

okay, it's weird, the url is clickable in the email notification but not in the comment

That would be your email program at work, not LJ...

I think this is a security feature, actually, because of all the recent anon spam comments with links to unsavory sited. So, yeah, I don't think it can be done.

Oh, I hadn't thought of that. I know I have seen it done in some of the kinkmemes, but maybe those had been done before recent security features were put into place?

Probably. It's a relatively recent problem--well, at least it didn't use to happen nearly as much as it has the last few weeks.
