"I Had A Shoggoth" written and sung by Tom Smith, ASL interpretation by Judi Miller

Labeled as A kids' song, written for The Funny Music Project, and performed live at MarCon 2008. ASL signing by the amazing Judi Miller, who had no idea what was coming.

Hmmm, I see the sign for shoggoth is the same as 'pig' or 'dirty' :D. That is one talented interpreter. I didn't even know there was a sign for zombie. That was awesome!

Have you seen Adam Hills' stand-up act? He performs with an interpreter and often tortures her in the same way. It's AUSLAN (Australian sign-language), but it's still incredibly fun to watch and he's hilarious and his comedy is really, really happy. His DVD has been loaded up on youtube. The first part is here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtW-RtMJkwY). If you do watch it, it turns from 'characterful' to 'joymonger' halfway through, as the second act has a different name. And he does swear a lot, if you're in mixed company.

I think she was coming up with some of the signs as he sang them, although as this was a Con there *might* be a sign for Dalek and Cylon and Chuthulu in a crowd like that.

Thanks for the link! I shall have to check it out on a day my kids aren't home.
