Isn't it ironic

In the most recent statement from the cable company we find out they've added BBC America to our package. All excited, we run to the TV and turn it on to find out it's showing....

I LOVE the Top Gear marathons. And I couldn't be less interested in cars. I just find Jeremy's voice extremely soothing, and the interaction between the three guys absolutely hilarious. Also, I <3 James May. Slightly OCD, socially awkward, easily lost...yep yep yep, I identify.

Not much BBC, a lot of America, huh? (Maybe they justify it with Patrick Stewart!) Despite that, I'd be excited. My local affiliate stopped playing 10pm reruns and it's totally comfort TV for me. :)

Don't worry, there's plenty of other fun stuff. Doctor Who reruns at random times! And I've heard good things about Being Human.

Oh, I'm still MASSIVELY excited. Especially looking forward to when Doctor Who returns and I'm sure I'll find lots of other things to watch, but it was a bit of a O.o when I first turned it on. :)

Ooh, is it Comcast? Would love a little BBCA to be added.

We had it at the old house when we had Dish, but Dish could not get a clear signal here because of all the trees, so Comcast prevailed. I do remember STNG being on pretty much daily though, no idea why.

Yep, Comcast's digital starter (the second tier, they also have a digital economy). Channel 114. Very excited about it. :)
