Author's Note:  TW/SGA crossover.  Twelfth in the alien donut crack!fic series.  (And apologies for chickening out and going for the G version here)

It was the need to breathe that finally caused them to end the kiss and split apart. 

“John?  Are you sure this is what you want?”

“Oh yeah.  Look what I had delivered, just in case.”  Sheppard gestured to the platter of food on the table.

“Is that what I think it is?”  Jack asked, pointing to the dessert.

Sheppard merely grinned wickedly and nodded.

“Donuts.”

Sheppard nodded again.

“And you got them... from the mess hall?” 

Sheppard shook his head.

Jack’s eyes sparkled.  “Why Colonel, are you asking me out for dinner?”

Sheppard laughed, “Dinner and donuts.”

“Even better.”

Haha! I didn't need to do anymore writing tonight ;) (Really I didn't. I might wind up writing that "Atlantis tries to seduce John Sheppard" crackfic, and that's just not good for anyone involved.

I'm definitely seriously considering getting Torchwood season 1 on DVD, despite the cost. It looks like BBC America is going to be in Season 2 for a while. I think I'm in love with alien donuts, though. *snort*

There are plenty of *ahem* places you might be able to find TW S1 on LJ if you were interested, but the DVDs have a LOT of amazing extras.
