I just Pre-ordered Torchwood!

I received a $50 amazon gift certificate 7 minutes ago (all hail hanukkah!) and immediately used it to order Torchwood.   I should receive it by the end of January!!  Woo-hoo!!!!

Sure. The reason for the latkes (potato pancakes) is to cook in oil, thus celebrating the miracle of hanukkah. Some Jews make sufganiyot (jelly donuts) instead, since they are fried in the oil too

I've actually never made my own donuts, cooking with oil makes me nervous, but I will happily toast the season with some bakery-bought ones!
