Out walking the dog today I saw this flower growing out of a crack in the pavement.

I love it when nature decides it just doesn't care what we pathetic humans do and that flower wants to grow there so that flower is going to grow there. No matter what.

It really is.

We have a few such things in our garden - self-setting flowers between the patio slabs and even coming up through the gravel, which given there is plastic underneath the gravel always seems amazing to me.
