Babble Ho!!
Well, I'm not quite living up to my resolution to post more. Err, yeah... sorry about that.
So, ermmm... randomosity here we go-
Last week one of the cats needed to go to the vet for a booster shot. I couldn't find the carrier but I did find the harness and leash and the vet is only 2 1/2 blocks away so I decided... why not give it a go? (Santini is the calmest of the cats and has been on the leash and harness many times, although usually just to snort around the bushes near the house.)
The appointment was just about when I usually take Molly (the dog) for a walk so she came too. So there we were, walking down the sidewalk, Molly in front, me in the middle and Santini (mostly) happily sauntering along in the rear, sniffing about and complaining about the cars that occasionally drove by.
We made quite the impression with the kids at the elementary school (this group was 8 or 9 maybe?) who were outside for recess. You'd think they never saw a cat on a leash before.
