Yet another bunny update
You guys sick of these yet?
The bunnies left the nest first thing Tuesday morning, but apparently haven't gone far. This guy was hanging out by the back door when I returned from walking Molly and Mama Bunny has been by the past two days and I've seen her nursing the little ones (I've only spotted 3 babies out and about at one time, there were seven in the nest, I assume the others are around). By the way, if you're curious, bunnies nurse when on their backs, half under the mom, with their feet kicking in the air as they nurse.
Anyway... here's the little guy, on his way to being a grown up bunny.

After they leave for good I'll get the photos off my camera and do a picspam showing their growth and development. :)

When I was a kid, I had a little veg patch in the big garden, and when it was getting colder at night, I covered my tomato plant -- yes, one plant but it was still covered with tomatoes that ripened every day -- and one morning I pulled back the old blanket so they could get some sun and there was a little nest of baby field mice!! They weren't even as big as my thumb!
I covered it back up, but when I went back a few days later, they were gone -- mummy had moved the somewhere safer and definitely more private!
Good luck with your bunny babies!!!! Please keep the pix coming!!!!

I'm not sure if I'll get many more pictures, and those I do will probably be taken through the window so won't be great, but eventually I'll get the shots I did manage off my camera and make a huge picspam of them all.

There are at least two still hanging about. One I only catch glimpses of but the other has declared a spot right under a window as his home. Unfortunately that means snapping pictures of him is hard, but I'm trying! And eventually I'll get all the pictures off the camera onto the computer (the previous ones posted have been from my ipod, which is much easier) and have a proper bunny picspam.

I think the bunnies have finally moved on, I hope to get my camera to behave and get the photos off of it and onto my computer soon so I can do a proper bunny picspam. :)
