On hitting 700 stories
Originally I thought I was several stories away from 700 and was planning on a writing meme to write presents for my flist to get me there, but then I realized my Yuletide stories never got posted here (and therefore hadn't been counted) and I was already AT 700. Whoops. Maybe I'll do one anyway.
So, onto the list, complete with comparisons to my 600 story list and 500 story list and 400 story list.

25 fandoms have only 1 story, up one from last year. 13 are crossovers, 12 are not of which 7 are new this year and I suspect most will still be in this category come the 800 story list, but I can't say for certain as I was surprised to see that 6 had moved off of 600's list.
24 fandoms have never had a crossover, of these 7 are new this year. NCIS:LA with 7 fics is the largest noncrossedover fandom, with original fic, Teen Wolf and White Collar close behind at 6. I can't see writing any more NCIS:LA or White Collar so that's likely to change soon. (Hawaii 5-0 had the most for the 600 and 500 lists but now has a crossover.)

The core of the list is unchanged since I started counting this: bones, buffy, dark angel, homicide, las vegas, macgyver, superman, wild wild west, winnie-the-pooh and x-files have been there since the 400 list and HDM and Discworld since the 500 list. This doesn't surprise me, most are fandoms I'd either never feel comfortable writing by themselves or simply have no interest in doing so.
As for the never crossedover list, however, very few remain from the 400 list. Only original fic (which has been added to yearly via conscifanmo), rps (2, unchanged), brimstone (1), calvin and hobbes (now 2) and life on mars (1). Otherwise, crossovers were eventually written.
