Sleepy Hollow e2 Blood Moon review

To quote MST3k "Awful nice of them to give that dead chick a job" (from Space Mutiny). I had assumed we had not heard the last of the sheriff, but thought he'd be appearing as a VO in more of those tapes he'd made or possibly in flashbacks, but I hadn't expected him to show up in a dream sequence, which makes me happy because I love Clancy Brown.

And then there was the return of Andy Brooks! I was SHOCKED we hadn't seen the last of John Cho!

How adorable was the "introduce Crane to modern tech with post-its" scene? And his righteous indignation over the taxes on the donuts?

The plot continues to be a little 'out there' but that doesn't bother me too much. Show tells a good story and makes me happy and that's what matters. :)

i loved the post-its! and ichabod drying his clothes with the hair dryer! and flailing in the shower! and the doughnut tax CRACKED ME UP because seriously, how indignantly colonial! even tho ichabod wasn't actually a colonist. (and i'm pretty sure they'd have counted money in, like, shillings and pounds, rather than dollars, but i'm not 100% sure about that. and his WHAT THE HELL IS THIS TAX NONSENSE?? reaction was cute in any case.) he's just so cute when he's indignant.

also the return of john cho got an enthusiastic thumbs-up, as did the kind of disgusting wrinkling around his neck. i thought that was a nice touch. and now abbie is having visions which means we have clancy brown which, also, thumbs up, show!

and yes, the plot continues to be kind of batshit. and ridiculous. and the ptb continue their excessively casual relationship with actual historical details. but it's still fun, and abbie and ichabod are still cute together.

Yeah, actual true historical details are only waved in the general direction of the show, but I don't care. :) Awesome show is awesome.

Is it bad to admit that when the sheriff lost his head I yelled, "There can be only one."

Right after I hit send on my previous comment, I glance over at the tv screen and Christopher Lambert is on NCIS LA. Don't usually watch that show. It was just something to kill time until Person of Interest comes on.

Yay Person of Interest!
