Double Decker Brownies Recipe

Easy but delicious dessert I adapted from a brownie recipe probably a decade ago.

2 C granulated sugar
1 3/4 C all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
5 eggs
1 C vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 C peanut butter
1/3 C cocoa powder
1/2-1 C chocolate chips
1/2-1 C peanut butter chips

1) Preheat oven 350 and grease a 9x13
2) Combine sugar, flour and salt
3) Separately, combine eggs, oil and vanilla (I whisk them together in the measuring cup after measuring the oil)
4) Combine the dry and wet mixtures
5) Divide dough (pour half into another bowl)
6) Blend the peanut butter into one and the cocoa into the other
7) Spread the peanut butter dough into the pan
8) Sprinkle the peanut butter chips on top
9) Spread the cocoa dough over that (this takes a bit of doing, it might not cover it completely, that's okay)
10) Sprinkle chocolate chips on top
11) Cook for 28-30 minutes

I'm getting a blood sugar effect just reading the recipe! Sounds yum, looks fabulously decadent.

They are TERRIBLY sweet, yes. Excellent for making and taking to a potluck because then you can have little piece and give away the rest. :)

Evil office food! I struggle with guilt when I do things like that, but then, hey, my coworkers are adults with their own free will, right?

Absolutely! :)

You could probably also halve the recipe. I have teenagers so I never tried, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.
