Okay, so my plan to post more often didn't quite pan out due to a combination of being sick, frozen (MN can quit it with the highs in the negatives any time now) and having my brain sucked into a huge, plotty sucked-into-AU Sherlock fic I've been writing.

So, erm, quick episode reviews:

White Collar and Sleepy Hollow have ended their seasons, WC with a whimper that I've posted about before, but SH with a bang. There was one plot point in the SH finale that was implausible given the setting which annoyed me, but I'm hopeful there will be an explanation for that when it returns in the fall.

I've given up on Almost Human- There's been no real character development done and the show just isn't gelling into what it could be. I'm sure it'll air its whole season but don't give it good odds of being renewed, which is unfortunate since there's a lot of unrealized potential there.

Intelligence (a show about a secret agent type with a super-computer microchip in his brain) started a few weeks ago on CBS, it has a lot of potential and has actually passed the bechdel test numerous times. It's nice to see the female agent in the role of protector as well as a woman in charge of the division, although it could do to back off of some of the inter-agency shenanigans. All back episodes should be available online, it's worth checking out.

Blacklist is a show I want to like but too many of the main characters just don't work for me. Reddington is too much of a super mary sue with far too many skills to be believable and Keen is either written or acted too terribly to be believable and her husband is even worse. I do like Ressler though, why I always fall for canon's lesser focused characters I will never know.

Teen Wolf this season has been amazing. Well, I should say season 3b, 3a was a muddled mess. Dylan's acting has been incredible and *crosses fingers* the storylines and arcs seem to be progressing in a mostly logical manner with few plot holes, it's great!

Arrow surprised me with giving us a canon bisexual character this past week. It's been taking some interesting and unexpected twists and turns and I'm hopeful it'll keep it up.

As for Agents of SHIElD.... *sigh* when a main character is dying and the rest swoop in time to (possibly) save their life the proper response should not be "NO!" And while I know Clark Gregg was most likely teasing/making a joke when he stated fans who gave up on the show are losers, reading it still left a bad taste in my mouth. There's potential for a good show there, but.... sorry, it's falling far short of where it should be.

Several shows (Supernatural, Person of Interest, Elementary, Grimm) are struggling to keep my interest. They're fine? Stuff happens and I watch it, but I'm not engaged. The Tomorrow People had been in that category but then threw some plot twists into the last episode that could either turn out great or sink the show for me.

I keep giving up Almost Human and then trying it again because I *want* it to be good. Today's was so boring though, I'm done.

Agent of Shield has improved somewhat. The first several episodes were so horribly boring, and the individual episodes and stories have gotten better, but they are focusing on two multiepisode story arc/character arcs that just aren't panning out. The writing isn't working and the acting and characterization isn't there.

Arrow isn't a great show. If you look at it though the CW filter (as in the fact CW shows aren't really on the same level as cable shows or CBS/NBC/etc) though it really exceeds my expectation of what it should be.

I've never watched any storage shows, so many shows, so little time! :)

Storage shows are great. It's like going through someone's crap without you doing any work, and with an expert there to tell you what everything is. :) Also, minimal drama.
