So, more shows have ended and new (and old) ones are beginning, time for an update!

Bingewatched all of Mr. Robot last week and 1) Saw the twist coming a mile away (the main aspect of it at least, not the minor details) 2) Was the graphic sex necessary? (whine, whine, whine I know, I am old) 3) Was graphically showing someone blow their brains out necessary? (ditto) and 4) Society does not work the way they think it does. If they actually accomplished what they claim to have done there would be anarchy and rioting in streets. Overall, the show did have some interesting bits and has been renewed. I may bingewatch it at the end of next season to see where it goes.

Graceland- I gave up on it this season, it just got too frustrating. Did tptb forget the main characters were supposed to be the good guys? *sigh*

Dominion- Not sure this show knows where it's going or how it's going to get there. Also graphically showing two people blowing their brain out in the one episode? Was that really needed? *sigh*

Gotham- I tried, but I think I give up on this show. Again. Too dark, too nonsensical, too violent, too ridiculous. *sigh* I like a number of the actors involved so hope it does well for their sakes.

Minority Report- The production value of the pilot was incredible, and there were lots of neat gadgets and doodads shown in this world which were interesting and well done, but I seriously doubt they'll be able to keep it up. I do also like the diverse casting but overall the show was mediocre. If I remember I'll continue to watch and hope it improves.

Blindspot- Not sure it can keep the premise up but Jamie Alexander (aka Sif of MCU fame) is awesome so there is that. The pilot, at least, was interesting enough.

Yuletide is starting to ramp up, nominations opening on the 25th. Not sure what I'll be nomming or requesting, hopefully I can come up with at least the minimum number of reqs needed to sign up.

i totally agree with you about blindspot. how long can they sustain the premise? who knows? but jaimie alexander was good.

i'm not sure what was the point of the graphic sex in mr robot either, unless it was supposed to give us a peek into tyrell's particular brand of bugnuttery. i saw the twist coming about an episode early, and then wanted to go back and rewatch all the earlier episodes to see there were any hints. (i'm guessing there were, because it sounds like you saw it coming before i did.) i liked it overall and am really curious about next season.

The main thing I noticed about "Mr. Robot" was that none of the others seemed to be responding/reacting to him- there was just something off about it. Not sure why I immediately wondered if there was something going on there, something just made me wonder about it. I did not clue into who Darlene really was to Elliot until it started playing out though. Rami Malek was really good at being an unreliable narrator, I was impressed with how it was acted/written.
