Memesy Wemsey

Because I am bored, it's meme time!

Tell me the title of a story I haven't written, details optional, and I'll give you a summary.  If you're really lucky, I might even write the story for you.

Feel free to be as specific to characters or fandoms as you wish.

Twelve Million Miles a Minute

Rodney never liked having to pilot a puddle jumper, for a very good reason...

The Grave is Lazy, He Takes Our Bodies Slow

Ianto's thoughts on preparing Susie for her second internment in Torchwood's crypt.

"The Queen and the Soldier"

Leave it to Jack to flirt with the wrong woman...

"It's Hard to Be Humble"

The White Council was impressed, but Harry Dresden wasn't sure if that was such a good thing.

A Good Dog is Gone
On Lt Welsh's last night he looked out at the empty room in front of him and thought back to the detectives that had once called it home.

Aw, your "A Good Dog is Gone" summary makes me sad and you haven't even written it.

Welsh makes me all mushy inside, I doubt I could do him justice though.

Aw, Welsh makes me mushy too. He's great.

I love all of those summaries, and I'd read all the fics! I'm especially drawn to the 2nd, 3rd and last. :)

I kind of want to read all of those, especially the first and last ones.

I second wanting to read that last one. *nods*

Harry's never been that happy with the White Council, has he?

[identity profile] chatona.livejournal.com 2008-03-14 09:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Not as far as I know. But then, the council's never been happy with him, either.

true- they seem to put up with each other in the 'you're more of a help than a hindrance, so I won't kill you' sort of way.

[identity profile] chatona.livejournal.com 2008-03-14 09:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I think that describes it rather well :D

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-03-14 09:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Have you read the books or seen the tv show?

[identity profile] chatona.livejournal.com 2008-03-14 10:03 pm (UTC)(link)
I have the books and I watched the first few episodes of the tv series (the first ten or so), but I don't remember the details of the show. Only that I'm probably the only (okay, one of very few) fangirl who doesn't ship Harry/Bob in the tv series. 's not my fault Harry and Morgan have chemistry in the tv show, though, is it? :D

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-03-14 10:06 pm (UTC)(link)
There aren't that many episodes, maybe 13? I liked the show, but liked the books better.

[identity profile] chatona.livejournal.com 2008-03-14 10:11 pm (UTC)(link)
I like the books much better. They're absolutely gorgeous. I mean, the tv show wasn't bad, but nowhere near as good as the books.

Not caught the TV show, and am only on the 4th book so far, but do love The Desden Files.

Yay! Another convert!
