When Tony had the plague Gibbs ordered him to live. But, he never said for how long....

Jack wasn't supposed to be in Seattle at all, but since when did Jack do what he was supposed to?

A case brings NCIS two dead bodies and a strange artifact. What will Gibbs and DiNozzo do when only the Marine stays dead? And when the artifact begins to glow?

I'd have to say that I'd choose the Logan Cale broody one over it - and that's not just me lusting for Logan Cale fic, it's the god's honest truth.
Has it suffered from the writers' strike or was it going to suffer anyway do you think?

Bellesario (the writer/creator/director) of the show left after S4. He had introduced sweeping storyline arcs in S4 and planned on continuing them in S5, but when he left they just roughly summed up the arcs as quick as possible and moved back to a self-contained episodic style. I like when there are dangling plot threads that go from episode to episode, but it's just me. I know a lot of people who disliked S4 for the same reason I liked it.
Logan would be good at brooding. :)

Logan could out brood most people so the angst would still be there...
I'm a big fan of a sweeping plot arc as long as it *is* sweeping and not bam bam bam every week taking you to point X (that's too much like turning it a series into a serial...) but a thread running through a season makes me very happy indeed.

That happening makes me so mad! And I'd better warn hubby - he's really looking forward to seeing where we left it all lands up!

You might want to warn hubby for a bit of whiplash for the first episode of S5... which I found all kinds of annoying, but oh well. That's what fanfic is for.
Would you be willing to help with any Dark Angel or NCIS fics I write? I need someone to beta who is familiar with those fandoms (not that I am planning on writing a Jack/Logan fic. Really. I mean it. I'm not planning it at all).

NCIS I'd be more than willing BUT I haven't read anybody else's fanfic at all (not even Becky's as Tony/Tim doesn't appeal) except for that *coughs* tree!fic *coughs* Was that you or [Unknown site tag]?? So I could only offer you general "Yes that is *totally* the way he'd act." "I think you'll find that happened in Season 2." Sounding board type stuff.
