You thought it was spring? April Fools!
Ugh, something like 9" of incredibly wet, heavy snow fell last night which means we can see the cool bunny (squirrel? Idk) prints that get left on our walkway but also means shoveling. An hour an a half later I am still only a little over half done. Ugh.
The animal tracks do look cool though.

After a couple of failed crochet projects I started another sheet rug. I don't have anywhere to put this rug if I finish it but oh well, that's a problem for later me.

Brittle Steel Slicing Through by meyari (19k)
Summary: Being dead was a weird, weird thing that Jin Zixuan wasn’t sure what to make of. But he was and he was helpless, so that was that. Until he wasn’t dead anymore. Instead his face had just made acquaintance with Wei Wuxian’s fist back at the lectures in the Cloud Recesses. Which changed everything. Especially because it gave him the time he needed to make things right one death at a time as a proper son of the Yu should. (Great JZX time travel fix it, love his POV and his way of dealing with everything)
Were Xuanyu by maya_brainstormed (mayachain) (3k)
Summary: The first time it happens, Wei Wuxian thinks he's merely had too much to drink. (this post-canon fic is something I've never seen before and really liked)

(I've been following this time travel fix it since early 2020 and it's finally complete! WWX time travels back to his missing three months and the entire war and rebuilding afterwards is different as a result. It's a great, if quite long, read)

Summary: After the events of canon, Lan Sizhui and Wen Ning encounter a village gripped by sickness. Sizhui's memories of Wen Qing return as he watches Wen Ning use his medical training. (a sweet little canon-compilant healer!Wen Ning post-canon fic)

Summary: After giving away his golden core and being thrown into the Burial Mounds, Wei Wuxian takes his revenge on the Wen sect without crossing paths with the Sunshot Campaign. With no trace of him found, his loved ones have no choice but to believe he died in the Burial Mounds, and go into mourning. But then strange things start to happen around Yunmeng ... and in Lanling, Jin Guangshan has only begun to take advantage of the power vacuum left behind by the war. (Another really long, just completed fic. This does a great job at showing how being thrown in the burial mounds an might have affected WWX and how much everything might have changed if he'd been more messed up than he had been in canon after that experience)
The Devil's Kindness series by Androgyninja (5 works, 29k total)
Small changes within the MDZS timeline that end up having large snowballing effects. AKA Wei Wuxian literally cannot stop himself from helping people even though he is in an untenable position himself. (Interesting anon divergent series where the truth of the Wen Remnants slowly comes out and how it changes things.)
Moonlight through fractured ice by ballofstring (5.5k)
Summary: Lan Xichen tries to help Wei Wuxian, but saves himself along the way. Or alternatively: dangerous rituals, facing old ghosts and a lot of tea. (Short but excellent LXC&WWX post-canon fic)

- i just think they shouldve gotten ONE hug where they werent enchanted or like. dying - They absolutely should have and this hug is adorable :)
