“When you had the plague I ordered you to live.”  Gibbs wrapped a hand tightly around the bed rail as he spoke.  “That’s all it took.  A slap on the head and an order and you were fine.  Well, maybe not fine, but on the road to recovery.” Eying DiNozzo over his ever present coffee cup, he paused to take a sip.  “Back then they said your chances were only fifteen percent, I ever tell you that?  Fifteen percent.  But you showed them.  You got yourself back to operational fitness in no time flat, faster than anyone expected.  Everyone except me that is; I never doubted you for a second.”

He stood up, stiff after sitting for so long, and tossed his now empty cup in the trash can by the door.  “You gotta do it again, you hear me?  Show those doctors what you’re made of.  I need you out there with me, covering my six.”  He stuffed his hands in his pockets.  “Oh hell, DiNozzo, I might not ever have come right out and said it, but you know you’re the only one I trust to do that, right?  Honestly, you’re probably the best agent I’ve ever worked with. But if you tell anyone I said that, I’ll deny it.  It’d be bad for my image.  Second B for bastard and all that.”

Gibbs paused, sighing at the lack of response.   With a light touch he reached over, smoothed out the blankets and brushed away an errant lock of hair that stuck out from under a bandage.   “I’ll be back in the morning.  I expect you to be awake and bothering the nurses by then.”   He walked out, halting in the doorway.  “That’s an order DiNozzo.  An order.  And don’t you stop following them now, don’t you dare.”

actually, very little is ever rerun on primetime. A cable channel recently bought NCIS and has been showing it, but only older seasons.

Every time I visit my best friend in Ireland and sit down in front of his tv, I see at least five channels showing re-runs of NCIS, JAG, Buffy, Angel, Doctor Who, Torchwood and any show I could possibly want to watch. It's terribly unfair.

... I should've just stayed in Ireland. I should've. *pouts*
They don't have evil stalker laws of doom there, either. And they speak English!

Here it's like that with the Law and Order shows, which I can't stand.

Can you watch youtube? or do the laws not let that either?

youtube falls under the same law as downloading. evil law, covered pretty much all the bases.

well that sucks. although I suppose with youtube you could at least sneak about and watch some at an internet cafe or something where it isn't your computer, unlike Dling

I believe I could quite possibly dl stuff in an internet cafe, too. I just never get around to it. It's much easier to moan and beg my flist for help or just whine about it to the world in general. or wait until I possibly get to study in a different country. yay.
