When spell checkers are *not* your friend

Dear Mr. Spellchecker,

Gibbs talking about being threatened by an ex-wife with cast iron is a smidge different than being threatened with castration.  The latter probably would have made him a bit more upset.  Quit trying to change it in my story.

Which is the reason why I customise mine, otherwise it has a field day with the likes of Siannon, Methos and Ianto (Methos was usually suggested to be Method or Myths). As I scan for those wiggly red lines when I'm spell checking, it helps if the stuff I've spelled correctly is actually recognised.

All this talk of cast iron, gonads and castration is rather worrying in a way...

lol- I suppose it could be taken the wrong way.

I only realized I *could* customize it a bit ago. So I added fandom and fandoms and a few others, but I'm afraid to add too many things and risk getting it confused that way. I dislike the red squiggly line. And the green one when it thinks your grammar is wrong.
