Morality Lessons

Title: Morality Lessons
Pairing/Warning/Rating: Vague Doctor/Master, rated G
Word Count: 137
Summary:  The Doctor tries to teach the Master an important lesson.
Author's Note:  Written for [personal profile] unfeathered's prompt from my recent writing meme

“No,” the Doctor warned, “try to do the right thing for once, won’t you?”

“Who cares about doing what’s right?”  The Master fumed.

“Nearly every society that ever evolved eventually developed code of conduct, a system of ethics, an idea of morality if you will.  So I would say that the entire galaxy cares about doing ‘what is right’ as you so childishly put it.”

“But...”

“No.”

They stared at each other for a moment before the Master’s hand shot out, only to be slapped away before he could grab the last scone off the serving plate.

“You do not take the last one, it simply is not polite.”

“But....”

“No.”

“Fine.”  The Master crossed his arms and pursed his lips.  “But don’t you think I’m going to let you forget this.”

“I never expected you would.”
