Seconded on both counts! Also, lackadonutitis is an excellent word. As is sardoodledom, neither of which would be in my vocabulary if I didn't know you.

I love your lottery plans!

[identity profile] kensieg.livejournal.com 2008-08-01 11:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Imagining what I'd do if I had a lot of money has been a favorite daydream of mine. I've spent some time on it. I've also solicited hubby's opinions.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-08-01 11:08 pm (UTC)(link)
sharing with Hubby would be the polite thing to do, I suppose!

[identity profile] kensieg.livejournal.com 2008-08-01 11:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Steve says it comes under the one flesh rule.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-08-01 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)
sorry? what rule is that?

[identity profile] kensieg.livejournal.com 2008-08-01 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
it's based on a verse from the Bible. I don't know which one. Something to the effect that a man and a woman married together are united as one flesh.

Sort of like Joint Tax Returns but more spiritual.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-08-01 11:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Joint Tax Returns but more spiritual

*laughs* Gotcha!

[identity profile] mad-jaks.livejournal.com 2008-08-01 10:34 pm (UTC)(link)
I have a feeling I was tagged to do this but then I went all cranky and miserable and I forgot??
12) OMG me too
17) Magic Eight Ball says "Yes"
20) Would anyone have missed them if you had?

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-08-01 10:36 pm (UTC)(link)
cranky? Miserable? *pouts* sorry Anything I can do?
#17- I HOPE SO!!!!
#20- one would assume... at least their cats would, and the strays they feed.

[identity profile] mad-jaks.livejournal.com 2008-08-01 10:42 pm (UTC)(link)
It was before you went away I am over it now - I got all weepy and annoyed with myself and it was stupid. Bloddy hormones and real life :(

So the feeding of felines is their one redeeming feature? It's not bad as redeeming features go but I do think they could try harder.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-08-01 10:44 pm (UTC)(link)
sorry- hormones and RL can suck. Inlaws are crazy cat people. Really. Food for strays and try to bring the cats indoors to be pets or at least trap them and get them their shots and get spayed/neutered and then release them. It's nice of them, but still...

[identity profile] mad-jaks.livejournal.com 2008-08-01 10:47 pm (UTC)(link)
but still...
You just wish some of that charitableness toward more of the two legged inhabitants of the planet..?

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-08-01 10:48 pm (UTC)(link)
YES! (although, they are semi-nice to other 2 sons and other DIL) I took some pictures of the craziness, I'll post them later. You'll laugh.

[identity profile] mad-jaks.livejournal.com 2008-08-01 10:52 pm (UTC)(link)
I will laugh tomorrow when I wake up. Right now I need to have a cuppa, doublecheck son has actually packed underwear in his bag for next week (Scout Camp) and then *go to bed*

*yawns*

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-08-01 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)
sleep well!

[identity profile] adafrog.livejournal.com 2008-08-06 01:09 am (UTC)(link)
Loved lackadonutitis. And #20.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-08-06 02:08 am (UTC)(link)
lackadonutitis is a great excuse for a lot of things- it's not your fault, you can blame the fact you don't have enough donuts in your diet!

[identity profile] adafrog.livejournal.com 2008-08-06 07:58 pm (UTC)(link)
*snort* Good plan, though.

[identity profile] donutsweeper.livejournal.com 2008-08-06 08:01 pm (UTC)(link)
it is one I heartily embrace!
